At SHARE, we believe in transparency and clarity when it comes to financial transactions. Our refund policy is designed to distinguish between fees retained by SHARE and refunds initiated by our merchants to their customers.
SHARE refund policy
SHARE does not refund the following fees under any circumstances:
These fees cover platform usage, tools, marketing, and payment processing infrastructure, and are therefore non-refundable once a transaction is completed or a subscription cycle begins.
Merchant refunds to customers
Merchants on the SHARE platform have the option to issue refunds to their customers. However, SHARE advises all merchants to only accept payments when the customer is fully satisfied. This prevents disputes, refunds and maintains trust on the platform.
If a merchant initiates a refund to a customer, SHARE will refund the full transaction amount to the customer, while the merchant will be charged a refund processing fee ranging from 2.9% to 4.4% of the refunded amount.
If a merchant requests SHARE to process a refund directly, we will issue the refund; however, the merchant will be responsible for a processing fee ranging from 2.9% to 4.4%. This is because Stripe does not refund its transaction fees. Therefore, the merchant is liable for covering these fees. We strongly encourage our merchants to accept payments only when their clients are fully satisfied with the service. SHARE merchants will be held responsible for any refund—whether it is initiated by the client directly or requested by the merchant.
